Interact with the AI Coach through a conversational chat.

The Coach AI chat provides a conversational interface for getting help with your visual testing setup.
Using the chat
- Click "Coach AI" in the sidebar or open the Coach panel in the Diff Viewer
- Type your question or request
- The Coach responds with context-aware guidance using rich markdown formatting
Multimodal input
The Coach supports image attachments for visual questions:
- Drag and drop images into the chat
- Paste images from your clipboard
- Click the attachment button to browse files
- Up to 4 images can be attached per message (automatically resized for optimal processing)
This is useful for asking "Why does this look different?" or "What changed in this area?" while sharing screenshots directly.
What you can ask
- "How should I set up visual testing for my e-commerce site?"
- "Why is this scenario failing?"
- "What content rules should I add for my blog?"
- "Explain the difference between these two screenshots"
- "Help me configure thresholds for this scenario"
Context awareness
The Coach has access to:
- Your current project configuration
- Scenario settings and results
- Diff Viewer state (when open)
- Test run history
This means its suggestions are specific to your project, not generic advice.
Suggested actions
After analyzing your project, the Coach may suggest quick actions as clickable chips:
- Create a new scenario
- Add a content rule
- Adjust a threshold
- Apply comparison rules
- Crawl your site
Token usage
The chat footer displays approximate token usage (~k tokens) for the current conversation, helping you monitor AI quota consumption.
