Rule suggestions
AI-recommended content and comparison rules to reduce false positives.
The Coach can analyze your page structure and test results to suggest content rules and comparison rules that reduce false positives.
Content rule suggestions
The Coach identifies elements that are likely to produce false diffs:
- Date/time displays
- User-specific content
- Ad placements
- Random images or avatars
- Live counters or feeds
For each, it suggests the appropriate normalization type (text, images, or all-content).
Comparison rule suggestions
Based on page analysis, the Coach may recommend:
- Ignore regions that are inherently dynamic
- Layout-only comparison for content-heavy areas
- Exact comparison for critical branding elements
Reviewing and applying rules
Content rules
Each content rule suggestion includes a Preview showing:
- A screenshot of the matched element
- The CSS selector
- The confidence level
- The recommended normalization type (with an option to override)
You can validate individual rules with Preview, then apply all accepted rules at once with Apply all rules.
Comparison rules
Comparison rule suggestions can be applied via suggested actions in the chat. The Coach may also suggest click rules for handling cookie banners and consent overlays.
Click rules
The Coach can detect cookie banners and similar overlays and suggest click rules to dismiss them before capture. Review the suggestions and click Add click rules to apply them.
Rules created by the Coach are tagged with createdBy: coach so you can distinguish them from manually created rules.
