Frequently asked questions
What counts as a snapshot? Each captured viewport image in a run counts toward your monthly snapshot quota (e.g. 3 viewports × 10 scenarios = 30 snapshots for that VRT run). Accessibility, performance, SEO, and security audits each consume one snapshot per (scenario × viewport × browser) combination. FRT scenarios consume one snapshot per executed scenario per browser. Tracking audits do not consume snapshots in V1.
What happens if I exceed my snapshot quota? Snapshot usage is counted live on every run. When platform enforcement is active, runs that would exceed your monthly cap are rejected upfront with an upgrade prompt — no partial runs. Scheduled runs that hit the cap are skipped (skipped_quota). The quota resets at 00:00 UTC on the first of each month. Metered overage billing at $0.0035/snap for Business is on the roadmap; until it ships, over-cap runs are blocked rather than billed.
Annual billing saves approximately 20% vs monthly. You are charged the annual amount upfront for Hobby, Team, and Business.
Changing plans — Upgrade or downgrade from your account billing or the pricing page. Stripe proration applies per Stripe’s rules.
