VisualQ

Manage subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, or manage your VisualQ billing.

Upgrading your plan

You can upgrade from two places:

  1. Pricing page — visit visualq.ai/pricing, pick monthly or annual at the top, and click the upgrade button on the tier you want
  2. Account page — go to visualq.ai/account and click Upgrade in the Billing section

Clicking upgrade opens a Stripe Checkout session. After payment, your plan is activated immediately and the new limits take effect on the next test run.

Monthly vs annual billing

All paid tiers (Hobby, Team, Business) are available in two billing intervals:

  • Monthly — pay-as-you-go, cancel any time
  • Annual — same features, 20% discount, billed up front for 12 months

You can switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa) at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal. Switching from monthly to annual immediately credits the unused portion of the current month and starts the annual term.

Managing your subscription

Once subscribed, click Manage subscription on your account page. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

  • View your current plan and billing cycle
  • Update your payment method
  • Download invoices (including snapshot overage line items)
  • Change your plan or billing interval
  • Cancel your subscription

Changing plans

You can switch between paid plans at any time. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing:

  • Upgrading (e.g. Hobby → Team): immediate access to the new tier's features; the unused portion of the current period is credited
  • Downgrading (e.g. Business → Team): features remain available until the end of the current billing period, then the new tier kicks in

Canceling

Cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal. You'll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, then revert to the Free plan.

Canceling does not delete your data. Your projects, scenarios, and test history are preserved on the Free plan (subject to its limits — extra scenarios become read-only until you upgrade again or delete them).

Snapshot usage and overages

VisualQ tracks snapshot consumption in real time on Account → Usage. Warning emails are sent the first time you cross 70% and 90% of your monthly allowance within a billing period.

When snapshot enforcement is active for your organization, runs that would exceed the cap are rejected before the worker starts — see Plan limits for details.

Metered overage billing (charging per snapshot above your plan allowance) is on the roadmap for Business. Until it ships, there is no automatic Stripe line item for extra snapshots — contact support if you need a temporary quota boost.

Enterprise and custom terms

Enterprise (custom pricing, SSO, compliance packages) is not available in self-serve checkout. Contact sales for a quote, annual agreement, or security review. Everyone else uses the current public tiers — Free, Hobby, Team, and Business — as described in Plans.
